• Cedar Ridge can be fairly busy Saturday, so the parking lot may be full. If it is, you will need to park at the Park in the Woods Recreation Center at 6801 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75249. Please take parking time into account when calculating your travel time so we can get the hike started on-time.
• Meet at the picnic tables right outside the restrooms and Education Center by 9 am. We’ll begin the hike no later than 10 to 15 minutes after our meet time. We’ll get to know each other along the way. The hike should take approximately 2 hours.
• Please keep in mind that the trails at this location are rated as moderate because of some elevation. Also, make sure to bring enough water to drink during the hike. Pets are allowed on the trail, and must be on leash.
• For those that want to grab a bite after our hike, we’ll make plans to eat afterward.
